On August 20, 2010, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton announced Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu and Mahmoud Abbas have been invited to Washington on September 2, to start a round of talks. However, Mahmoud Abbas is holding his position as President of the Palestinian Authority illegally. Elected to serve until January 9, 2009, Mr. Abbas unilaterally extended his term as president of the Palestinian Authority for another year and continues in office even after that deadline expired. How serious are these talks? Would Netanyahu also represent North Korean interests in the Antarctic Ocean? Would I be called to represent the US government? Two recent announcements from Netanyahu show exactly what he thinks about the talks. He proposed to the U.S. administration to hold a face-to-face meeting with Mahmoud Abbas every two weeks to try to forge covert understandings and set principles to solve every issue. Every two weeks? Covert understandings? Compare these to the successful meetings between Begin and Sadat in Camp David: every day, during all day. Netanyahu looks at these meetings as a coffee break among his other occupations. Then, there is the issue of the negotiating team he chose. Yitzhak Molcho would lead the team. He, Ron Dermer, and Uzi Arad will choose the other members of the team. The last name is the key one. Uzi Arad serves as the National Security Advisor to the Prime Minister of Israel, and the Chairman of the Israeli National Security Council. Moreover, he was the founding Director of the Institute for Policy and Strategy of the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya and Professor at its Lauder School of Government, Diplomacy and Strategy. At the Institute, he has established and chaired the annual Herzliya Conference, Israel's principal international policy conference. My faithful readers may now recognize the link. I mentioned the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya at “From the Third Reich to Reichman,” as the place where Uriel Reichman works as law professor and Very Important Patsy of the Shin Beth. The same is true for Arad. The team would be manipulated by the Shin Beth, meaning there is no chance to achieve any type of agreement. If Netanyahu dares otherwise, he would be assassinated as Rabin was. The Shin Beth, the Mossad and the IDF depend for their prosperity on an ongoing war as described in The Cross of Bethlehem What about the Palestinian side? Abbas represents hardly himself. Palestinian legal Prime Minister - Ismail Haniyeh – said that “Palestinians worldwide do not support absurd talks with Israel,” and that “the scheduled negotiations would not restore Palestinians' rights or give them control over religious sites.” Haled Mashal, said that the upcoming talks were illegitimate and the result of coercion by Washington. Israel and the USA are trying to kidnap a nation by holding formal talks with a nobody. The writing is on the wall: violence would resume during the talks, in order to thwart them. The next bomb would be courtesy of Netanyahu.
