“But Jews do not behave like that, they are kind people, they have suffered so much during the Holocaust and all that…” would the archetypal Western answer to my last article be. Truthful Lies: the Attack on Iran described a probable and very brutal scenario for an Israeli attack on Iran. Touching as this Western reaction is – tears were probably shed – the argument is false.
Not only Jews would be angry at this article, if I fail to clarify the following. I do not care what the genetic code of Israeli Jews is. I do not care what the genetic code of Jews in Birobidzhan is. We are too far from Biblical Israel for this being relevant. As it is, our soul is infinitely more important that our genes. Our education is thousands of times more important that our genetic code. After all, we share lungs and hearts with vast parts of the creation, and the genetic code of a lung is just that. It has nothing to do with our capability to differentiate between good and evil; as such, it is irrelevant.
Jews consider themselves descendants of Biblical Israel. As such, they grow up upon the stories and morals preached in the Old Testament. Thus, they are moral descendants of them. This approach is Biblical in nature, as Apostle Paul told us in Galatians 3:9 They which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham. In other words, the descendants of Abraham are so by Faith and not by genealogical lines. There are many similar quotations.
Before Jews get too merry about this last assessment, let me mention it also means spiritual death for them. If sticking to the Old Testament without accepting the New Testament, you get a horror story with no hope, no peace, and no love. Moreover, if reading the Old Testament and ignoring its prophecies regarding the new one, then one becomes a hypocrite, as Jesus defined Pharisaic Jews, the predecessors of modern rabbis. This leads to wicked ethics, and inevitably to the endless string of violence we are witnessing in the State of Israel. The list showing this would be long, so for the sake of this article remaining one, let’s choose just one relevant example. Since we are facing a possible Israeli attack on Iran, let’s see what happened there a long, long time ago…
Book of Esther
The Book of Esther is in the Ketuvim (“Writings”), which is the third section of the Tanakh, the Old Testament. It is set in the third year of Ahasuerus, King of Persia; due to Hebrew peculiarities, it becomes Ahashverosh (“h” as “ch” in “loch”) in that language. The name Ahasuerus is also equivalent to Xerxes, thus he is usually identified as Xerxes I (486-465 BC). The book tells the story of a Jewish girl called Esther, who became queen of Persia and thwarted a plan to commit genocide against her people. The Book of Esther, also called the Megillah (“scroll” in Hebrew), is the basis for the Jewish celebration of Purim. Its full text is read aloud twice during the celebration, in the evening and again the following morning.
This book is highly questionable. It doesn’t mention God even once; that’s odd for what is supposed to be religious literature. Then, it is the only book of the Old Testament that did not show up in the Dead Sea Manuscripts, hinting that it was a late addition to the Old Testament. Some of the acts described there are so hideous, that many Christians refrain from reading it in Church.
If analyzing its content, one can’t but wonder about the similitude of this book with the literature produced by the 2nd century BC Maccabean Revolt (see Empire Celebrates Hanukkah). This revolt succeeded; the Temple in Jerusalem was liberated and rededicated. The festival of Hanukkah was then instituted. Hanukkah symbolizes the transition from being an oppressed people in the empire, into people organized as a smallish kingdom just next to it. Thus, Hanukkah has the military and nationalistic dimensions that Passover lacks. Hannukah is the Jewish Imperial Feast. Purim, the festival derived from the events described in the Book of Esther, is not only imperial in nature, but genocidal in its intentions.
According to the Book of Esther, Haman, royal vizier to King Ahasuerus, planned to kill the Jews. Following an intricate string of events, his plans were thwarted by Mordecai and Queen Esther. Afterwards, the Jews killed not only their would-be executioners, but also their wives, children and relatives. Altogether, 800 were killed in Susa - the capital city - alone, and 75,000 in the rest of the empire. The following day was declared feast, the genocidal Purim we still can be seen celebrated today.
There is no way of justifying these killings. This is not self defense, but violence in the name of violence; brutal vengeance for something that did not happen. One of my readers told me once that it is as if Germany celebrated the Holocaust.
There is another testimony of ungodly behavior in the book; its heroine is evil. I won’t mention the specific events; they can be checked out in the short and simple text of the Book of Esther. Abraham Kuyper analyses in Women of the Old Testament that Esther did not agree to take Vashti's place, that she refrained from saving her nation until her own life was threatened, and that she carried out bloodthirsty vengeance. The last is the Sign of the Beast, not of a godly hero.
Then, there are heavy signs of pagan influences in the book; Esther is derived from Ishtar – also known as Ashtoret - the Fertility Goddess in the ancient Middle East. The Book of Daniel provides accounts of Jews in exile being assigned names relating to Babylonian gods and "Mordecai" is understood to mean servant of Marduk, a Babylonian god. The more you look into this book, the least resemblance it bears to other books in the Bible.
The meaning of the book meaning has been expanded by the rabbis and transformed into a manifest of Jewish ideology. “Agagite” is used in the Book of Esther to describe Haman. This means he was descendant of people from the Persian town of Agag. Yet, the Jewish literature relates it to King Agag of the Amalekites. For rabbis and their followers, the Amalekites are symbolic of the Judaism antithesis. Moreover, of the 613 mitzvot (commandments) followed by Orthodox Jews, three refer to the Amalek: to remember what the Amalekites did to Jews, to not forget what the Amalekites did to Jews, and to destroy the Amalekites utterly. The rabbis derived these from Deuteronomy 25:17-18, Exodus 17:14 and 1 Sam. 15:3. Rabbis, what about making peace utterly? Do you ever think of that?
Along time, Purim has become a celebration of violence. When Haman's name is read out in the synagogue, which occurs 54 times, the congregation engages in noisemaking to blot out his name. The practice can be traced back to the Tosafists (French and German rabbis of the 13th century). This is in accordance with a passage in the Midrash, where the verse “Thou shalt blot out the remembrance of Amalek” (Deuteronomy 25:19) is explained. Then, a custom developed of writing the name of Haman, the offspring of Amalek, on two smooth stones, and knocking them together until the name was blotted out. Some wrote the name of Haman on the soles of their shoes, and at the mention of the name stamped with their feet as a sign of contempt. This list goes on and on.
This behavior is typical of the Jews. In The Cross of Bethlehem, I wrote: “At the same time that I learned about the Pharisees, I also learned that Jesus’ Hebrew name had been changed. It was a shock for me and a vital clue as to the nature of the problems in Israeli society. From that moment on, I began to study the New Testament during private moments. Not everything was clear to me since the translation into Hebrew was awful, but soon I found mentors. Jesus’ real name was ‘Yeshua’ which means salvation in Hebrew. Worried about the implications, the Pharisaic rabbis changed his name to ‘Yeshu,’ an acronym meaning ‘be his name and memories forgotten.’ Even nowadays, that’s the most popular way to refer to Him in Israel.” This, of course, adds to His crucifixion.
Overall, we witness here carefully constructed institutional violence.
Netanyahu I, Queen of Iran
In Armageddon’s Trigger I made a strong argument for Netanyahu being a warmonger. “Netanyahu is desperate. A guillotine was placed for his personal use on Tel Aviv and he is unable to solve the social problems that led to its being put there. I was told by a reliable source that he is reluctant of using the guillotine. Discrimination and racism are also raising their ugly head, most notoriously with recent words by Shlomo Maoz. Until he uttered them, he was the main economist of Excellence Nassua, a prominent Israeli investment company. Among other pearls, he said that Bank Leumi is a ‘white bank’ and that the Supreme Court is an ‘Ashkenazi Court.’ Netanyahu keeps issuing terror scares, some of them have been even commented upon here, most recently in Military Rabbinate Plans Third Temple. Truth is simple; if Netanyahu does not undermine representative government, representative government would undermine him and the entire Israeli oligarchy. The only way he can undermine it is by creating such a dire situation that people would accept every abuse and violation of their rights. In other words, Netanyahu needs a war.”
In Truthful Lies (see Astonishing Israeli Attack on Iran) I claimed that his chosen target is Iran. The possible scenario of the war’s first battle was described in Truthful Lies: the Attack on Iran. Netanyahu is a Moral Jew; he shares the education and morals described above. Thus, he wouldn’t hesitate to become a modern version of Queen Esther, replacing ancient Persia with modern Iran, in a desperate attempt to become Netanyahu I, Queen of Iran.
