Jesus Triumphal Entry

Jesus Triumphal Entry | John 12:12-16

"A Zio-what?" several readers asked regarding my use of the word “Zio-Pharisee” while referring to the unholy alliance that brought upon us the Terrorist State of Israel. Yesterday, while browsing the Hebrew media, I found the perfect opportunity to explain the topic, due to the kind help of Netanyahu’s brother in law. On March 17, 2010, Dr Hagai Ben Artzi called Netanyahu in an open letter not to free terrorists at any cost. Those acquainted with the Israeli media, could have found similar articles by the same author to the various Prime Ministers of the last generation. I won’t bother the readers with the rhetoric of Ben Artzi; reading it is not recommended for good people. The same day, on the Army Radio, he claimed President Obama is anti-Semite; strangely enough, in the past I brought to the attention of my readers a racist remark of the Hebrew media toward President Obama.

Among other things Ben Artzi said “We are a nation dating back 4,000 years, and you (America) in a year or two will be long forgotten. Who will remember you? But Jerusalem will dwell on forever."

Any picture of Ben Artzi showing his head, reveals his identity. A hand-woven kippa adorns it, showing he is a “nationalistic-religious” person. Moreover, he is directly related to the Religious Zionist Yeshiva Merkaz HaRav (founded by Rabbi Abraham Isaac Kook) and to the Mishpaha Lohemet, placing him at the very center of the unholy alliance between Zionists and Orthodox Jews that led to the foundation of the state.

The actual political map in Israel wouldn’t have been possible during the 19th century in any Jewish settlement. Israeli governments are composed of coalitions between Zionist groups (led by the Labor or the Likud – Kadima enters in the same category) and Orthodox parties. The last are bound to the Talmud and are waiting to religious redemption via a Messiah, practicing Pharisaic interpretations of the Bible.

Jewish redemption is far from the Spiritual Redemption professed by Christians. Jews do expect a physical redemption based on a Godly Kingdom in the Land of Israel. All the religious interpretations until the 19th Century didn’t leave any place to a Zionist party rushing to conquer Arab lands. That was the role of a future Messiah. Thus, any cooperation between Zionists and Orthodox Jews was impossible.

Then a Maoist-styled Giant Leap Forward took place and things changed. Traditionally, the Jewish Orthodoxy believed the abovementioned redemption would arrive in two stages. The early stage is called “Messiah Son of Joseph,” and would include the physical stages of bringing the Jewish people together; this stage is symbolized by a bull. The second stage is the “Messiah Son of David,” when a spiritual Messiah would restore the Kingdom of God. This stage is symbolized by a donkey; Christian readers would immediately recognize Jesus triumphal entry to Jerusalem riding one (John 12:12-16). In the 19th Century, Rabbi Abraham Isaac Kook, was one of the Orthodox Jews who created the base for cooperation between Zionists and Pharisees.

What he did was simple, and is known as “Hamoro shel Mashiah” (“Messiah’s Donkey” in Hebrew, a book by this name was published in 1998). He claimed the secular Jews (i.e. the Zionists) can take the place of “Messiah Son of Joseph” as a collective entity, creating the base that would allow the Pharisees – the Orthodox Jews – to produce the “Messiah Son of David” in the new and secular state.

It worked. The political alliance produced a state accepted by most Jews. Neturei Karta is one of the few Jewish groups that do not accept this unholy contraption. The state lavishly supports its Yeshivas – the Orthodox colleges.

A social result was the creations of the “hand-woven kippas” group, also known in Hebrew as the “nationalistic religious” people, to whom most settlers in the West Bank – and Ben Artzi – belong. They couldn’t exist prior to the alliance. Their views are extreme on both ends – extremely nationalistic and extremely Pharisaic. Often it can be seen in their adopted names – changing names is easy in Israel. “Ben Artzi” means “Son of my Land,” a proper name for a “hand-woven kippa” leader.

Netanyahu has been always under pressure of this group, the recent letter of Ben Artzi and his words against President Obama are just an example of that. They are fanatic enough to bring a new war to the Middle East; the Hurva event was just a reminder of that. What Netanyahu and all other Israeli leaders fail to see is that the donkey is not a donkey, but a sterile mule.
