I. Mossad Many years ago, as a high-school student in a Jordan valley kibbutz, I read Isaac Asimov’s Foundation series. English readers of the original trilogy (Foundation, Foundation and Empire, Second Foundation) may find harder to make the obvious Hebrew connection. “Foundation” translates into the Hebrew “Mossad;” that’s was the name adopted by the translators. There are a lot of “foundations” in Hebrew, but only one which doesn’t require any additional classifiers: “Hamossad Letafkidim Meyuhadim,” (The Foundation for Special Jobs) the infamous terror organization under the direct control of Israel’s Prime Minister. Sometimes it is referred to as his personal army.

”It’s just a coincidence,” a much younger me thought and began reading the books. What I found was so disturbing that I went and checked out the date of the manuscript. This series is a complex affair; actually Asimov wrote five books (the two introductions were added many years after the original publication, and other books were published by other authors). The original date of publication, 1951, is misleading, Foundation (the original first book, now the third one) is a collection of four stories, published between 1942 and 1944, plus an introductory section written in 1949. Thus, either Asimov possessed prophetic powers, or he was closely related to the Zionists and the “Mossad Lealiyah Beth,” the predecessor of the modern Mossad. Considering he was a Russian Jew who grew up and lived in New York, this connection should not come as a surprise.

But I’m rushing ahead; Foundation deserves a more careful introduction. The hypothesis of the series is that mathematician Hari Seldon developed a branch of mathematics named psychohistory, or mathematical sociology, which can predict the future, but only on a large scale; it suffers of errors on a small scale. Asimov claimed that the behavior of a mass of people is predictable, at least on large scales. Using this science, Seldon foresees the fall of the Galactic Empire, and a dark age lasting thirty thousand years before a second great empire arises. To shorten the period of barbarism, he creates two Foundations, small, secluded havens of all human knowledge, at "opposite ends of the galaxy." The First Foundation is in the extreme periphery of the galaxy, and the people living there work on the preservation of the physical sciences after the collapse. The Second Foundation is even secret and works on the development of psychohistory and in the manipulation of social forces in order to minimize the predicted period of barbarism. I won’t spoil here the reading for those who didn’t read these extraordinary books; I want to concentrate on the main idea: the Second Foundation (on the other extreme of the galaxy – mathematically oriented readers would enjoy this little joke of Asimov) manipulates societies, down to the level of individual lives, in order to achieve Hari Seldon social goals. To some extent, that reminds of roles illegally assumed by the Mossad – like the bio-terror event against Khaled Mashal - and the Shin Beth – like the assassination of Israel’s Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin. Coincidence? In The Cross of Bethlehem I describe several social-engineering events conducted by the Mossad against me; they look very similar to the described in Foundation, but let’s look at a more recent creation, before we jump into hazy conclusions.

II. Matrix

The Matrix is an Australian-American science fiction-action series written and directed by Larry and Andy Wachowski. The first episode – The Matrix – was released in 1999, while the two sequels - The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions - were released in 2003. The series describes a future in which reality as perceived by nearly all humans is actually simulation created by sentient machines to pacify the human population, while their bodies' heat and electrical activity are used as an energy source. After learning this, a computer programmer named "Neo" joins a rebellion against the evil machines, together with other people that were freed from the dream-world into reality.

In essence, the idea is very similar to the one presented by Asimov. Why? There is a group (disguised in The Matrix as sentient-machines) that feeds on the energy (energy and work are physically related terms) produced by another group. Most of the second group is unaware of the manipulation. Not surprisingly, the Wachowski brothers belong to the same ethnic group and are obviously related to Hollywood, a Jewish bastion.

Isn’t this the same old debate on “The Protocols of the Elders of Zion” in a modern disguise? After all, if the analogy was true, why publish it? That’s an easy one. After it is published anybody making an accusation that Security Services – as the Mossad and Shin Beth – are involved in evil and illegitimate Social Engineering it would be attacked on the grounds of having been influenced by science fiction works and publicly ridiculed. An additional target is to control future publications by manipulating the ideas presented in these works. For example, the last episode of The Matrix hints at a settlement between the sentient-machines and the slave-humans, instead of presenting a permanent removal of the evil machines. The Security Services (SS) are preparing a proposed solution to a possible future conflict.

Anti-Semitism! Are Jewish readers shouting now, while utterly vandalizing their surroundings. Yet, the ultimate control weapon of the SS on civilian populations relates not only to Israel.

III. Mortgage

The book I was reading was the classic “Typee: A Peep at Polynesian Life,” by Herman Melville and I was feeling at the moment like one of his sailors who were being chased by cannibals. Anxious to get away from his prying eyes, I moved to my bed and hid behind the opaque curtain separating me from his line of sight, to read: “What a striking evidence does this operation furnish of the wide difference between the extreme of savage and civilized life! A gentleman of Typee can bring up a numerous family of children, and give them all a highly respectable cannibal education, with infinitely less toil and anxiety than he expends in the simple process of striking a light; whilst a poor European artisan, who through the instrumentality of a lucifer performs the same operation in one second, is put to his wit’s end to provide for his starving offspring that food which the children of a Polynesian father, without troubling their parents, pluck from the branches of every tree around them.” Deprived from any real possibility of providing for a utopian offspring, I knew that my society would let me perish without giving me a slice of bread or a cup of water... To complete the analogy, we must look into society and search for a device that allows the SS two things: first, to keep people relatively immobile, physically and socially; second, to create a stable income source for the state, and thus indirectly for the SS themselves. Easy. Mortgage!

A mortgage loan is the name to the financing obtained by a home buyer or builder from a financial institution. It allows using future incomes for purchasing something in the present, while the financing institution makes considerable profits from interest. These institutions are often related to governments. The loaners are from that point until they end paying the loan little more than slaves. They’ll be careful not to lose their jobs. Self-censorship in their activities would be thus willingly imposed. This applies to all Western Walsinghamian states.

We live in a rapidly changing world. Technologies change every day. The gadget that was expensive last year, is worthless the next one. With one exception: the construction industry. Thousands of years old, its prices only rise because this industry is kept inefficient and backwards. Governments are interested in keeping their citizen-slaves in line, and this is a very comfy way. Isn’t it so, Rabbi Mammon Rothschild?
